Surface microstructure is one of turbulent drag reduction methods. Riblet's drag reduction effect has been confirmed by a large number of experiments. But there is no unified understanding of the drag reduction mechanism of riblets. This paper adopts the CFD method based on LES to numerically study the effect of surface microstructure on turbulent boundary layer flow.
