Our objective is to investigate the effect of different Weber number on the dynamic characteristics of an impact droplet on superhydrophobic(SH) surface. The impact evolution processes of droplets were obtained by coupling top visualization with lateral visualization. Detail explanations for formations of rim and fingers were analyzed, and will provide a clear understanding for impact process.
