FLIGHT PERFORMANCE AND TRAJECTORY PREDICTION OF THE COAXIAL HELICOPTER IN AUTOROTATION

The flight dynamics and kinematics models were established for the coaxial rigid helicopter in autorotation process. The helicopter attitude, descent rate, trajectory, speed and rotor speed, varying with time were predicted. A two-parameter analyze method was proposed, which regarding to various combinations of the deceleration leveling height and the transient increasing height.
