The paper presents the efficiency studies of different type of hybrid electric propulsion systems for 19 passenger capacity commuter airliner. The advanced turboprop propulsion system (technology level of 2030), series hybrid electric, parallel hybrid electric (hybrid turboprop), distributed hybrid electric, full electric propulsion are compared.
