RESEARCH OF THE HYPERSONIC BOUNDARY LAYER INSTABILITIES AND TRANSITION WITH THERMAL-CHEMICAL NON-EQUILIBRIUM EFFECTS

In this paper, both linear stability theory and parabolized stability equation are used to study the effects of thermal-chemical non-equilibrium on hypersonic flat-plate boundary layer instability. The non-parallelism effects and nonlinear interactions on the instability are explored combined with the thermal-chemical non-equilibrium effects.
