Based on Euclidean space in mathematical analysis, this work proposes an inverse approach using distributed strain measurements to determine the structural load distribution. In the approach, emphasis is placed on the correlation of load and strain, instead of the physics. The general idea is to select a small amount of load cases as reference cases among a large number of load cases.
