MODEL REDUCTION AND STOCHASTIC UPDATING OF A VIBRATING SYSTEM

This work presents a method for estimating the properties of rubber dampers used to mitigate the vibrations' propagation in aeronautical structures. This technique extends the nonlinear structural dynamic modification method to address hysteresis behaviour. The presence of uncertainties is considered non-intrusively by building a regression based surrogate models.
