THE USE OF SOFTWARE “VIRTUAL ENGINE” FOR TIMELY GAS-TURBINE ENGINE FAULT LOCALIZATIONS

This paper examines methods of timely recognition a damaged part of an aero-engine using onboard engine simulation model "virtual engine". In the furtherance of this goal, an integrated mathematical “bench” containing several mathematical models was developed. Algorithms that allow recognizing damaged part of engine were developed and validated.
