The unsteady effects of ultra-low Reynolds number flows influence the stability of propeller thrust and the controllability of the high-altitude aircraft. This paper aims to propose a design optimization method of airfoils, including two objective functions: time-averaged drag coefficient and its amplitude. It is concluded that the unsteady effect is decreased while the drag is reduced.
