COMPUTATIONAL FLUID-STRUCTURE INTERACTIONS OF A 3D FLEXIBLE FLAPPING WING

Based on the ANSYS Workbench platform, we developed a three-dimensional (3D) aeroelastic framework for the flapping wing with a flexible multibody system subjected to an external incompressible turbulent flow. The effect mechanism of the fluid-structure interactions of the three-dimensional anisotropic flexible flapping wing is revealed.
