INCREASING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF AN AERODYNAMICALLY BALANCED CONTROL SURFACE ON A MODIFIED AIRFOIL WITH REDUCED DRAG

Investigation results of aerodynamic characteristics of a modified symmetric airfoil with an aerodynamically balanced control surface are presented. The modification led to reduced aerodynamic drag of the airfoil and significant increase in the control-surface effectiveness.
