AN EFFICIENT FINITE ELEMENT SIMULATION METHOD FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Regarding the enormous computational cost during the process of numerical simulation of additive manufacturing, a new FE method is improved. The Interpolation method of local mesh refinement is proposed to improve the calculation efficiency, and the computational speed and predicted results are compared with those predicted by simulations using the conventional framework.
