The purpose of this work is to show the engineering approach and the technical contents of an aeronautical design activity performed by the “Team S55”. The members focused on Weight and Balance, Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics, Structural Analysis and Finite Element Method (FEM), investigation of modern materials (sandwich composite structure) and innovative technologies (3D Printing, SLM).rn
