AUTONOMOUS CONFLICT RESOLUTION ALGORITHM BASED ON ELLIPTIC GEOMETRY

An algorithm for constructing an autonomous conflict resolution system for UAV to avoid interfering flying object is discussed. The determination of the avoiding waypoints is based on an approach for defining an ellipsoid area covering the interfering flying object, over which then an optimization problem is solved to obtain a point on the ellipsoid boundary to become the avoiding waypoint.
