DRAG REDUCTION ANALYSIS IN CLOSE-FORMATION FLIGHT

In this paper, the drag reduction of aircrafts in close-formation were analyzed using sensitivity analysis method. the mechanism of dramatic changes of aircraft aerodynamics in formation flight was revealed from a new perspective by studying the change of aerodynamic load deviation relative to the single aircraft in flight formation.
