EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON SUPERSONIC CAVITY ACOUSTICS

An experimental investigation at Mach number from 2 to 4 into the properties of cavity acoustics, including pressure fluctuations, spectral appearance and control technology, have been carried out in an open rectangular cavity. The results reveal an eccentric-oscillation of pressure gradually with Mach number increasing, as well as high-performance suppressing effect of four controlling method.
