DISTORTION PLATE DESIGN, SIMULATION VALIDATION AND TEST SCHEME FOR STABILITY ANALYSIS ON A FAN COMPONENT OF AN AEROENGINE

Distortion plates with varies blocking ratios are designed for an intake distortion test of a fan component, with a CFD method to validate the designed effect. The simulation results match the data of former test data well and show that blocking ratios have a linear relationship with the steady distortion index at inlet. Combined with the simulation results a detailed test scheme is built up.
