NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF TRANSONIC BUFFET ON A HALF WING-BODY CONFIGURATION

This study focuses on shock buffet and will consist in performing (U)RANS simulations on a half wing-body configuration at transonic speed using elsA code. Validation will be performed against experimental data from ONERA database. Results of will be presented for 2 angles of attack: before buffet onset and beyond the critical value, aiming at the definition of best-practices for buffet simulation
