Stress-strain analyses and optimization of structural elements with explicit non-uniformity of stress distribution due to concentration regions were performed. Some principles of modeling such structures with the use of the finite element method and the simplified beam models were discussed. Possible optimization methods concerning structures with local stress distribution were considered.
