RESEARCH OF LABYRINTH SEALS MEASUREMENT-BASED PROBABILITISTIC ANALYSIS METHOD FOR TURBOFAN INTERNAL AIR SYSTEM

To find out the performance of a secondary air system (SAS) within actual labyrinths seals clearance uncertainty in a turbofan engine, and to figure out the key labyrinth seals, this paper carries out a probabilistic analysis to main functions of a turbofan SAS based on measured data of labyrinth seals. This paper could provide important basis for SAS design during whole period of turbofan engine.
