The interior noise has been always an issue for aircraft manufacturers, even if only recently itrnhas received higher importance. Noise levels change depending upon the different operations of aircraft. Since the characteristic wavelength of noise sources in aeronautics is usually very high, latest research focused on the possibility to control low frequencies by the use of Acoustic Metamaterials.rn
