THERMAL PROTECTION SYSTEM PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF STRATOFLY HIGH-SPEED PROPELLED VEHICLE

STRATOFLY (Stratospheric Flying Opportunities for High Speed Propulsion Concepts) project has the main objective of designing a hypersonic civil aircraft of at least 300 passengers along long haul and antipodal routes. This work shows the layout and describes the preliminary thermal design process of the vehicle leading to a proper material selection for the Thermal Protection System (TPS)rn
