NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON FLOW INTERFERENCE BETWEEN BLENDED-WING-BODY AIRCRAFT AND OVERHANGING NACELLE

Based on structured embedded grid, using NASA CFL3D solver, the research simulates the effect of the vertical tail cant angle and the variation of the nacelle inlet and exhaust flow field when overhanging nacelles and vertical tails are at different longitudinal positions, providing reference for optimizing engine layout of a blended-wing-body configuration.
