ERAS- EVALUATION OF REALISTIC APPROACH SCENARIOS FOR MINIMAL NOISE - PRELIMINARY FINDINGS

The ERAS project was initiated when it was found that the theoretical flight operational models used for aircraft noise calculations not always describes the normal flight operational practice used. The project describes the differences between the theoretical model and normal practice, and the subsequent differences in noise calculations versus real noise.
