SUPERSONIC AEROELASTIC ANALYSIS OF AN ALL-MOVABLE WING WITH FREE PLAY

The computational fluid dynamics/computational structural dynamics (CFD/CSD) coupling method is developed for the analysis of an All-movable Wing with Free Play. Results show that limit cycle oscillations are observed at velocity lower or greater than linear flutter speed. This indicates the possibility of detrimental structural failures before reaching linear flutter speed.
