AN ALTERNATIVE BUT EQUIVALENT REALIZATION OF FINITE-HORIZON SUBOPTIMAL CONTROL FOR VEHICLE LANDING

This paper studies the finite-horizon optimal control for vehicle landing, in which a state-dependent differential Riccati equation emerges. Upon the establishment of equivalence to the approximate analytic solution, an alternative way of numerical integration is proposed to overcome the singularity in the control generation. Since its good performance, the proposed method may have the potential for on-line control implementation.
