In order to have minimal maintenance, reduce down time and optimize fleet operation, Airbus Structural Health Monitoring for the airframe structure targets progressive solutions with the ultimate objective to offer Condition Based Maintenance. This will enable inspecting airframes only when needed, based on individual aircraft usage and damage detection.
