TRANSITION PREDICTION FOR TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT CONFIGURATIONS BASED ON OVERSET GRID

This paper used the ?-Re?t transition model based on structured overset grid for transition prediction of transport aircraft configurations. Two sets of model extension including crossflow instability mechanism were adopted, which were built using the concept of helicity. Predicted results of CHN-T1 and Trapwing models indicated the effectiveness of overset grid and the transition models.
