HYBRID IGNITION PROBABILITY METHOD TO PREDICT THE IGNITION PERFORMANCE OF A GAS TURBINE COMBUSTOR

hybrid kernel formation and tracking method has been developed to predict the ignition limits of low emission combustors. The ignition limit was expressed by a correlation between ignition probability and fuel air ratio. A critical value of ignition probability was determined and agree well with the experimental data from five different combustors.
