FLEET LEVEL DIRECT OPERATING COST ASSESSMENT OF ADVANCED ALL NEW MID-RANGE TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT

Model based system engineering (MBSE) methods play an important role for holistic assessment of configurations and technologies (e.g. over wing nacelle configurations). The focus of the paper lies on a fleet level direct operating cost assessment of the technologies that are integrated with MBSE means and a respective mindset into conceptual design of an advanced mid-range aircraft.
