MULTI-OBJECTIVE AERODYNAMIC OPTIMIZATION OF A CIVIL AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE

A new body shape parameterization method is presented that is able to generate a variety of fuselage geometries in a regular manner. The aircraft fuselage geometry is optimized for minimizing the drag and maximizing the lift. The incidence angle is also considered as a variable and its best value is found for best aerodynamic characteristics.
