ON AIRCRAFT OPERATIONAL INTEGRITY

As one of aeronautical equipment, the aircraft are widely used for citizens and military. The Operational Effectiveness and Operational Suitability of which were studied mostly. In order to analyze the aircraft quality, some parameters were put forward, such as Reliability, Maintainability, safety, Supportability etc. But, each of these parameters only reflects one attribute of the As one of aeronautical equipment, the aircraft are widely used for citizens and military. In order to analyze the aircraft quality, some parameters were put forward, such as Reliability, Maintainability, safety, Supportability etc. But, each of these parameters only reflects one attribute of the aircraft partially. We must have a compound parameter, which just like the Operational Effectiveness and Operational Suitability of aircraft, to show the comprehensive quality attribute of the aircraft during the operational process. Aircraft Operational integrity is defined as the attribute which exists when an aircraft is sound and unimpaired while providing the desired level of durability, supportability, safety, performance, survivability and recoverability. In this study, the concept of aircraft operational integrity control and a quantitative measurement method that uses aircraft operational integrity degree to measure aircraft operational integrity are proposed.
