The present work is framed within the context of Systems Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The main objective of the proposed research activity is the comparison of a document-based and a model-based approach for the application of the NASA Systems Engineering process for the conceptual design of a Hybrid-Electric Propulsion System.
