The characteristics of boundary layer transition on a sharp cone under different angles-of-attack are investigated in a hypersonic quiet wind tunnel, through Nanoparticle-tracer Planar Laser Scattering (NPLS) high precision flow visualization technique, PCB high frequency fluctuation pressure test technique and temperature sensitive paint (TSP) technique.
