The paper presents the results of a series of wind tunnel tests of a propeller driven aircraft performed to get detailed data of the mutual interaction between the wing and the propeller. Global aircraft aerodynamic coefficients, plus the thrust, torque, 1P forces and 1P moments on each propeller have been measured. This data is compared with CFD predictions of the same configuration to extract conclusions about the reliability of the current numeral tools used in industry to correctly predict these effects that significantly influence the aircraft design.
