AN ENERGY BASED WEIGHT ESTIMATION TECHNIQUE OF TWO-STAGE-TO-ORBIT REUSABLE LAUNCH VEHICLES

An Energy Based reversal analysis method of aircraft structure weight based on the carrying capacity of the TSTO reusable launch vehicles is proposed in consideration of the condition, engine performance and the characteristics of thrust and resistance. The analysis results show that the engine efficiency has a significant effect. The propellant have an advantage in ground take-off weight.
