EFFECTS OF COOLANT BUILD DIRECTION ON ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED FAN-SHAPED COOLING HOLES

In this study, the effects of the different build direction are studied via five test coupons containing three rows of fan-shaped cooling holes. The research shows the different feed directions affect the surface roughness quality of the cooling holes channel and get the optimized feed direction for these typical fan-shaped cooling holes.
