MODELS AND METHODS FOR DRONE STRIKE LOAD PREDICTIONS

F. Franke¹, U. Burger¹, C. Hühne, DLR, Germany; ¹Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Germany

The effects of a collision between drone and aircraft are difficult to assess. Impact tests with quadcopters are time- and cost intensive to perform. The objective of this study is to present an analytical method for prediction of impact loads which occur during collisions between manned and unmanned aerial vehicles.
