BIRD STRIKE SIMULATIONS IN MSC.SOFTWARE: CORRELATION BETWEEN THE EXPERIMENTS AND SIMULATIONS

The main objective of this study was to find the finite element model parameters, which would provide the best correlation between the experiments and simulations. For these purpose MSC.Nastran and MSC.Dytran with Lagrangian-Eulerian and Smooth Particles Hydrodynamics methods were used.
