This paper aims to discusses the measurement and characterization of power cables used by flight test instrument as a medium for data communication in the frequency bandwidth from 1.7 to 100 MHz. Moreover, we present a prototype and field test of a power line communication (PLC) modem that is capable of reaching 90 Mbps without packet loss at the level of the UDP protocol.
