INCLUDING AEROELASTIC TAILORING IN THE CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PROCESS OF A COMPOSITE STRUT BASED WING

The aim of the paper is to improve the design process of a novel aircraft configuration. The focus is on assessing the effect of including the aeroelastic tailoring capabilities in the multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) of the composite strut based wing. Using the AGILE paradigm, an effective MDO methodology for efficient collaborative framework will be formulated. rn
