A mathematical model for a spherical Coand? MAV is developed from first principles. CFD simulation for a Coand? MAV generic model are elaborated for insight into its flow physics. Parametric studies on the effect of varying exit jet heights and curvature of the Coand? device upper surface on the Coand? effect is carried out to investigate their influence on Coand? MAV performance.
