NEW APPROACH FOR INVESTIGATION OF MAXIMUM-RANGE AIRCRAFT TRAJECTORIES

The problem of maximization of the aircraft range is considered. The solution is based on using the Pontryagin maximum principle. The procedure of regularization of the optimization problem for wide variety of aircraft is developed. The procedure is based on the analytical solutions obtained for pseudo-conservative models of motion.
