FLIGHT TECHNICAL ERROR EVALUATIONS FOR GBAS NAVIGATION REQUIREMENT DEFINITION

This work proposes a more appropriate modelling of the flight technical error (FTE) at touchdown. In the proposed method the risk of landing outside a specified area is not underestimated as it may be the case today when fitting the data to a Gaussian model. On the otherhand the model is not too conservative in order to allow for a realistic trade-off between FTE and navigation requirements.
