This article presents a Fluid-structure Iteration (FSI) method applied as a study case to a recent conventional transport aircraft with aspect ratio of 12. It evaluates the nonlinear structure effect on the static limit loads calculation. Similar models of the under development aircraft Embraer 175E2 were used. More specifically, this study shows the limit static loads evaluation using static FSI with high fidelity tools in both aerodynamics and structures.
