A FRAMEWORK FOR UNCONVENTIONAL LANDING GEAR CONFIGURATION MODELLING

A modelling framework for the preliminary structural layout of new landing gear configurations for future transport aircraft is presented, which takes into account the adjacent airframe structure (wing/fuselage). The objective is to identify possible landing gear configurations with the highest overall structural benefit of landing gear and airframe. rn
