BAYESIAN APPROACH TO FLIGHT CHARACTERISTICS MODELING WITH REAL FLIGHT DATA

This study proposes a new method to make a mathematical model of aircraft flight characteristics.Its Bayesian approach enables us to utilizes not only data collected in flight experiments but also results of computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel tests.Moreover, it makes comparison of the results of these activities easier by taking confidence of the estimated model into account.
