POSITION SYNCHRONIZATION OF AEROSPACE ELECTROMECHANICAL ACTUATORS FOR DISTRIBUTED ELECTRICAL ACTUATION SYSTEM

Position synchronization of EMAs is addressed for surface redundancy arrangement (e.g. thrust reverse, pylon conversion-V22, slats/flaps actuation applications), with special considerations to segregation and performance sensitivity to uncertainties. Pre-validation and robustness assessment are achieved with resort to virtual test bench while real test enables validation in laboratory conditions.
