SIMULATION STUDY FOR VFR AIRCRAFT AND SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (SUAS) MIXED OPERATIONS IN LOW LEVEL AIRSPACE

This paper introduces a concept of our developing simulator which clarifies issues and proposes solutions regarding mixed operation of multiple small UAS and helicopters in low level airspace, and provides an analysis of helicopter flights which is incorporated into our simulator.
