HURRICANE-CS: CONTROL SURFACES AND HIGH LIFT DEVICES MODELING AND SIZING PROGRAM

This work presents an automatic method and program, named HURRICANE-CS, for the sizing of the control surfaces and high lift devices of conventional aircrafts. The results found for an A320 input geometry show that the program achieves coherent and consistent results. Furthermore, the tool has proven to offer great time and effort savings in the iterative process of aircraft conceptual design.
